Thanks for the report. I fear this might be some snap package issue, as the respective code has not been changed in ages and so far no-one has reported an issue, or had I seen some problems myself when playing with color schemes. So reassigning to snap authors. The code rendering the "normal" bytes is in method ByteArrayRowColumnRendererPrivate::renderPlain(...) here: https://invent.kde.org/utilities/okteta/-/blob/0.26/gui/bytearrayrowcolumnrenderer_p.cpp#L632 I will attach how things look for me with current Breeze Dark color scheme and Okteta, on openSUSE TW. I am perplexed on how it is a snap issue, but will look into it nevertheless. Please test the latest in the snap store ( 0.26.10) as I cannot reproduce. Unable to reproduce the bug
Now I can't reproduce the bug, it probably has been fixed by now. However, another problem occurred: The window title bar of the okteta from snap doesn't fit the dark theme.

This makes the text unreadable. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set Breeze dark theme. 2. Open Okteta. 3. Type anything in the editor. OBSERVED RESULT The text is dark on a dark background, except if it's highlighted. EXPECTED RESULT Light text color on a dark background.
