SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create an album with Google Photos
2. with digikam launch Google export tool
3. select the created album

OBSERVED RESULT

Beside the name of the album there is closed locker, and we can't add photos with digikam.

EXPECTED RESULT

Beside the name of the album there is an open locker, and we can add photos with digikam.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

In the  past when creating an album with digikam was failing we could create an album with google photos then add photos with digikam.

The problem is very well known. It is not a mistake by digiKam. The Google API only allows images to be written in albums created by the digiKam app. The topic is reported as a request / error by Google by many users. But so far no reaction from Google. You will see a lock symbol in the album list if digiKam has no access.
