SUMMARY

When exporting layers, the ordering between layers is lost. In my workflow I export all layers from Krita to png files, and import these png's into Unity. In Unity there's no info on the ordering between layers that was used in Krita, so the ordering ends up messed up. A simple solution I'm currently using is to prefix the layers with an incrementing number. However, with dozens of layers, this becomes very tedious. It would be beneficial for anyone that wants to maintain the layer ordering when exporting if an option was added for prefixing file names with an incrementing number.

Could you provide an example of how to prefix the layers? In the case grouping is used, would the groups also need to be prefixed? In this scenario could you also provide an example of how to prefix the groups and layers?

I tried myself to replicate what you mean so I better understand the problem. I would like to pick this issue up, so any information and guidance would be helpful. Thank you!
