Description Andrey 2020-07-17 12:51:36 UTC
SUMMARY

In the Logout dialog, Cancel button (or just pressing Esc key) behaves the same way as Ok - i.e Logout performs unexpectedly.
Comment 1 David Edmundson 2020-07-17 12:58:07 UTC
That very unusual

Can I ask how you are triggering the logout dialog?
Is it possible get a dbus-monitor log of the situation?
Comment 2 Andrey 2020-07-17 14:25:28 UTC
I'm triggered the dialog both ways - from panel menu and from Logout/Switch User widget - the result is the same.
So it works normally on your side?

Will grab dbus log later.

Wayland or X11? Or both?

Cannot reproduce on either, FWIW.
Comment 4 Andrey 2020-07-17 14:52:01 UTC
It happens to me on Wayland only.

Operating System: Ubuntu 20.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2

Here is dbus-monitor log during Cancel press. Please let me know if another info is needed

Eventually it fixed itself.
I have suspicion Plasma Desktop build step doesn't pull up all the needed dependencies, so it fixed when I run Plasma build directly:
