Hah! Can reproduce. Not sure if this is a regression if just something I never noticed before. Also not sure if this is the System Tray's fault, or KWin's fault. This isn't just the System Tray, it seems to happen with all panel widgets' pop-ups. Moving to KWin. Possibly duplicate of bug 419239 I agree with the comment 3: this bug is definitely duplicate of bug 419239.
