The screenshot shows the change in width of the widget after reboot.

SUMMARY
If I remove all KDE panels and use only latte-dock on desktop, newly added desktop widgets don't retain their specified size and changes on every boot.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Remove all KDE default panels and use latte-dock
2. Add a new widget
3. restart

OBSERVED RESULT
Widgets added increases their width.

EXPECTED RESULT
The widgets should have the size that was specified while adding it

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Kali GNU/Linux 2020.2
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This issue is present in almost all distros I have tried, previously I was on arch Linux with latest KDE versions, it was present there too.

No idea... I don't think is Latte related.
What widget is this?

In my system such thing is not reproducable.

It was this widget. It works fine with KDE panels.

Do you have any other widget with the same issue?

and also make sure that when you tested with plasma panels you had set them to Always Visible and not AutoHide.

This issue is due to old widgets, I patched the widget myself, it seems fine now.
