SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. add effects "lueur douce" 
2. add effects "médians" on the same video clip
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
When i add the both effects i can't play correctly the video on monitor project, it's playing in slow motion like as it's charging
But it's play normaly when i reduce the quality

EXPECTED RESULT
I would like to see the video with effect normaly

What kind of machine do you have? What is the size of the footage? It is normal when adding effects to get a slowdown. A workaround is to lower the monitor preview resolution and use proxies.

Of course there is room to improve the playback speed with gpu acceleration and it will get better when this feature gets applied to MLT.
