Tag report configuration
No transaction with tag in split transactions only shows up on report.
Only tags attached to entire transaction will show up on report.

This bug report is about tagged split transactions not showing up in a tag report. I have added an attachement for the report configuration. I have KMyMoney version 5.0.6 I can confirm that this bug is present in KMM 5.1.1 (build ba2c445) which, as of the time of this writing, I think is the last stable version. In case it's useful, I'm seeing this bug on Ubuntu 18.04 with the stable AppImage. I can also confirm this is an issue in 5.0.6 for Windows. Created attachment 172808 [details]

The bug also extends to the tag summary display The bug is still present in Version 5.1.3-eef04f1 on windows. The split transactions also do not show up on the Tags summary page unless the entire transaction is tagged. i have this bug as well :( my configuration is: KMyMoney version 5.1.3-db8f32618 OS: Elementary OS 6.1 Jolnir (based on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS) *** Bug 447858 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This has been solved in bug 453033 by new version 5.2 published on June 21st 2025 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 453033 *** |

When entire transaction is tagged that transaction will show up on report including all split transactions. When only split transaction is tagged and not entire transaction then that split transaction will not show up on report STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create split transaction where 1 or more split transactions have tag. Do not tag entire transaction 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT None of the split transactions with show up on report. EXPECTED RESULT All taged split transactions will show up on report SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION When entire transaction is tagged all split transactions will show up on report.
