Similar to Sans Serief, Monospace, etc font selection, there should be a picker for choosing the emoji font.

Setting emoji fonts through the font config is confusing for most users. There should be an option

I upvote this too. It's probably a so basic feature that should be added to the 15 minutes bugs list, as configuring the emoji font it's something that a user would immediately do together with the other system fonts

I would also like to chose my Emoji font. Currently I have a soft spot for OpenMoji, but can’t seem to use them in KDE.
