SUMMARY
In laptops with two GPUs, the best option right now is to run xorg with the intel drivers and open applications on nvidia gpu by installing nvidia-prime and typing "prime-run google-chrome-stable" (for eg) in the terminal or any shell or even the krunner. In windows, we can right click on an application and select run with nvidia graphics processor. It would be very nice if we could right click google chrome in the application launcher of kde and select run with nvidia processor.
