Description Leyenda 2020-07-01 16:32:26 UTC
SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install KDE Neon from iso on an EFI system,
2. Choose xfs filesystem for your root partition on installer
3. After installing it, reboot

OBSERVED RESULT
You get grub command line. You can't boot your fresh installation manually from grub because there isn't support for xfs.
So if you don't use an external tool from a cd, or reinstall neon using other filesystem as ext4 yo can't boot to your new system.

EXPECTED RESULT
Boot to your desktop after installation.

Thank you for your bug report!
However this bug report was created/provided previous to 01/01/2023 and also has not received any updates since before 01/01/2025.
Unfortunately KDE neon no longer provides updates for anything older than noble 24.04 based edition's.
Please upgrade to KDE neon noble and if you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to an active version, feel free to re-open this bug report.
Thanks for understanding!
