SUMMARY
audio played is very choppy. have tried importing different versions (mp3, wav) but all don't work. have also tried importing different audio. still doesn't work

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. set to animation
2. import audio
3. play audio

OBSERVED RESULT
choppy audio

EXPECTED RESULT
choppy audio

which exact version is this about?
Which Phonon backend is used?
FWIW: playback is done by Phonon, not by Amarok, you need to be more detailed about the versions of those libraries
