I started kdiff3 without arguments from a shell, as one might be even more likely to do when launching it through a GUI. Apparently at least 1 of the widgets in the dialog that is supposed to appear is not initialised properly and accessed with verification. Sloppy for a 1st impression of an application!

The crash can be reproduced every time.
