Moving to KSysGuard, looks like it could be using hardcoded link colors. The actual Breeze Dark link color is lighter than this. I recall seeing it in Luxmark application too. Though I suppose it could also be hard-coded there as well. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 389502 *** |
Created attachment 129564 [details] screenshot of ksysguard showing too dark fonts SUMMARY Some link texts inside applications are too dark with breeze-dark. KSysguard isn't the only UI affected by this, but it should serve as a popular example. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set theme to breeze-dark. 2. Open KSysguard. 3. Right click on a process and choose to show detailed memory information. OBSERVED RESULT The chosen color for some text elements in the summary about the process' detailed memory consumption is a very dark blue. It's barely readable on top of the dark gray breeze-dark background (see attached screenshot). EXPECTED RESULT Those text elements should be much brighter to improve readability. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.71 Qt Version: 5.15 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I changed the breeze-dark theme only slightly to make the title bars darker, otherwise everything is unchanged and my change has no effect on this issue.
