Hi, thanks for the report. Is this really 3.2 Beta?
Comment 2 mrdevis 2020-06-21 09:25:51 UTC
Hi,

Thanks for getting back, I installed this with flatpak kexi-stable.
It was a little unclear to me which versions that exactly is, as the
website seems to be a bit ambiguous about this.

best, Jeroen

I propsoe to set Platform and version fields then. Version is available in the command line or in the About KEXI dialog.

It helps if you attach a small .kexi file with this report.
Comment 5 mrdevis 2020-06-22 11:05:38 UTC
Hi, and thanks for the tip

I am starting kexi with flatpak, and I am a bit lot as where to give
set platform and form fields. My kexi version does not have an About
box, only a Welcome menu item.

It is possible to click the Calligra icon, but that only takes me to the
homepage..

Starting kexi from CLI is like this :

flatpak --filesystem=/home/jeroen run org.kde.kexi-stable

adding --help as a suffix gives me the options but I do not discover a
'Set Platform' or ' Set Version' there.

adding --version gives me this:

>libGL error: MESA-LOADER: failed to retrieve device information
>libGL error: Version 4 or later of flush extension not found
>libGL error: failed to load driver: i915
>libGL error: failed to open drm device: No such file or directory
>libGL error: failed to load driver: i965
>Qt: Session management error: Could not open network socket
>kexi 3.2 (3.2.0, git 0638be6 3.2)

I guess the libGL stuff is not a showstopper?

btw, is kexi supposed to be installed with sudo flatpak?

best, Jeroen

   Thanks,

I found the help menu under the (i) mark. Admittedly feeling a bit
stupid, I cannot find any way in there to set version. Nor under
   Libraries...

1. For kexi-stable, when I click About Kexi, I see:

Kexi
Version 3.2 (3.2.0, git 0638be6 3.2)

2. sudo flatpak should not be required. It's installing into a current user space.

3. libGL is not a showstopper, I am also getting these warnings.
