ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I can understand the program doing this while in full screen mode but not otherwise. Is it possible to have some sort of compromise with a toggle to turn this on or off? I need to use GLText with text manipulation (date and time) overnight. Besides, the power manager can be toggled with presentation mode to inhibit the screensaver, so it is not necessary unless in full screen mode.
