Maybe irrelevant, but there are some places with broken hinting in Plasma Settings too, for example in User Feedback tab (privacy policy link), Thunderbolt settings ("Thunderbolt system is not available" text), Window Rules settings ("No rules for specific windows are currently set" text). Sorry, I made a mistake. It seems the right term is kerning. This was a known issue in Qt which has been fixed as of Qt 5.15.1. See https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-49646 |
Created attachment 129462 [details] Broken kerning demonstration Some text labels are displayed with broken hinting immediately after launching Discover app, for example "Fetching updates..." or "Be the first to write a review!", maybe some other labels too. After refreshing or hovering over a link, hinting looks good again. See attached video for example. Discover 5.19.0 / Frameworks 5.71.0 / Qt 5.14.2
