Sample für up/down sorting
Falling or rising trend of formats instead of alternating landscape / portrait |
||
I don't actually have the division factor in my head when I see the list. I would even sort the "usual" aspect ratios up, so 1:1, 3:2, 4:3, 16:9 ... Gilles, your thought about it? Maik Hi Maik, Well we can compute an hidden table with all ratio that we use to sort the list of entries. Gilles Created attachment 129393 [details]
Falling or rising trend of formats instead of alternating landscape / portrait
Ok, your second message came in. I only wants to explain by a graph, why I would prefer a stringent falling or rising sort sequence. It is not necessary to list the decimal fraction but it can be helpful for the decision of choosing a format.
Please see also the attachment. Grenn side = my suggestion; red side = current situation.

Created attachment 129376 [details] Sample für up/down sorting SUMMARY: The sorting in 'Settings for cropping' appears somewhat disorganized because there is no logically increasing or decreasing order. A stringent sorting from 'square' to 'line shape' or vice versa would make the required selection easier, I think. See annex for an example STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3.
