Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 20.08.1 to see if there are any packaging issues on the snap version https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/

Hello, I'm currently using the latest .deb version from the official PPA. Though the bug isn't about the Appimage or .deb or PPA. It's actually about the SNAP package as I found that only that version is affected. I don't know if the issue has been resolved since the latest updates, although I wouldn't think so as snap is a broken POS. I have since ditched the snap version of kdenlive and I am using the .deb from the official PPA as I mentioned before as it's perfectly stable for me. But still felt like reporting the bug for the snap package which I think should be addressed

Kdenlive is distributed as AppImage, PPA and Flatpak. Please ask your distributor to update/correct the Snap package.
