1. Increase animations speed from plasma systemsettings 2. Or upgrade to Latte git version 3. Or upgrade to Plasma 5.19.0 Unfortunately it is a plasma problem. I think not. Before it was working fine with my desktop until I uninstalled KDE plasma. When I installed it back again, latte-dock started behaving crappy... Also, the git version had the same issue... Update your git version to latest, it is totally outdated... Latte animations do not depend in Plasma any more for more than four years. four months * DAAAMN!! You are right man... I've gat the dock running at godspeed now. Thanks dude. The git version is incredible. |
Created attachment 129251 [details] Screen recording does the description justice. SUMMARY The dock is generally extremely slow in everything. This includes when revealing itself and hiding, when opening applications, when closing them: literally everything. Even when opening the dock settings!! I have tried the latest version and some old ones and the issue persists. I have tried to increase the animation speeds to the utmost extreme but nothing happens. The dock is irresponsive to changes I make where animations are involved. The screen recording is below.
