SUMMARY
When first opening discover 'fetching updates takes about 2 mins to complete, once its finished and you click 'check for updates' is fine, close discover and check for updates, it happens again.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open discover
2. check for updates
3. close discover
4. check for updates

OBSERVED RESULT
is fine if kept open

EXPECTED RESULT
same response if kept open
