SUMMARY
We can run commands on the pc from the phone with kde connect, why not the other way around to? Say for example I could mute the phone from the laptop, or even change the wifi to off.
This might not something that can be implemented due to app restrictions, but perhaps if some things could be allowed?

are you suggesting we allow passing messages to apps like tasker which can do this sort of stuff better?

Well, sort of. Is it even possible to have tasker do something if I am interacting with the PC only? As far as I know I couldn't do that.
So if I want to mute the phone without touching the phone I believe kde connecect could do that, or at least be able to say, run the secondary command of tasker which could be made to do an action.

I'm not sure there is a set of useful commands that would justify adding this
