I couldn't find the right component.

SUMMARY

For example, pin both kcalc and kate next to each other in the task manager and run kate. Hover the cursor over kcalc until the tooltip appears, then move it over kate. The tooltip appears for a few ms, then disappears.

Cannot reproduce. Any chance you could attach a video recording of the issue?

Attaching the video. Also, I tested it in a clean user profile and I was still able to reproduce it.

Thanks. I can see the issue. It's one that has since been fixed in Plasma 5.20, thankfully. :)

The issue is still reproducible (almost always). I'm re-opening the report.

I think this has been fixed in 5.22 with this merge request?
