SUMMARY

In the Plasma up to the 5.19.0, calendar events were displayed on the left side (horizontal layout), but already in the Plasma 5.19.0, calendar events are displayed at the bottom side (vertical layout). It would be convenient to have an option to switch between vertical and horizontal layout of the Calendar popup applet.

Why? Is this a bug because your screen is too short to display the events?

The layout was re-done in Plasma 5.20 in response to user complaints about this. Now the layout is always sort of rectangular like it was in 5.18 and earlier, so I don't believe this request is relevant anymore.
