SUMMARY

Dead devs,

I would like to display both date and time in my panel. I have loads of free horizontal space for it. But for the digital clock to only use one line of text, I need to make the panel so thin that its other content becomes too small for my taste (icons, items in the notification area), especially now that I have a touch-enabled device.

Having the panel set to my preferred height of 32 px, the clock switches to two lines of text, which makes the text too small again. Using a bigger font makes the clock quicker to read when sitting right in front of the screen, but also easier to read from farther away.

Thank you for your consideration.

Another, maybe better option might be the ability to set/force the text size of the clock, correct?

Seems perfectly reasonable to me. I've heard others asking for this as well.
