bullet points instead of drop down

SUMMARY
Use radion checkpoints instead of an drop down menu for Capture Mode. See Attachment.

Most time I'd like to change Capture Mode so it should be a single click option instead of the drop down menu.

IMHO, wasted space.
You can also use your mouse scroll wheel to 'quickly' change the Capture Mode.

And than there are the shortcuts:
Meta + Print -> Active window
Meta + Shift + Print -> Rectangular region
etc.

I agree with Antonio.

Gnome screenshot tool or at least there mockup has "buttons" for the different selection methods. And it can also record the screen in addition to save screenshots.

Hmm, buttons aren't a bad idea. Then we could remove the "Take new screenshot" button.

Can you open a new bug report about that?
