That's odd. I can't reproduce this on Plasma 6.1.5 / Frameworks 6.6.0 and also not on Plasma 6.1.90 / Frameworks 6.6.0. @Hendrik: Can you still reproduce this? If not, I suggest to close this bug as it has been solved in the meantime. I can confirm this was happening back on Plasma 5.x and it's still happening on 6.2.2. To reproduce, all you need to do is increase and decrease the icon size on Dolphin when in icon mode. You'll see that at bigger sizes the icons are colorful, at smaller sizes they're black and white, but it's inconsistent between 22 and 36 if I remember correctly. This also happens somehow on Dolphin's sidebar when changing its width and feels really weird. The icons should not change sizes there, I reckon. An icon size of 23px is no longer valid; you can't select it in the UI. How did you manage to do that in Plasma 6? Created attachment 175522 [details]

You're right Nate. On Plasma 6, weird sizes like 23 are skipped. However I still see the monochrome icon during the transition from 32px to 48px, and from 64px it goes to 80px, where it shows monochrome icons, then everything is fine again. Here is a video where I replicate it, hope you find it useful.
