I've just opened the bug #431483 which is the same as this because I didn't find it before. And I can confirm this issue is still not fixed. *** Bug 431483 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Still not solved. It is not important, but is very annoying when you have a long list of profiles. Please... *** Bug 441243 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 437320 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I have about 30+ servers, which I administer with ssh (Konsole Profiles), and they are show not only unsorted, they are sort in some randomly order after each restart Kubuntu 20.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.12.8 Same here. Over 25 konsole profiles with changing ordering within konsole task bar applet. openSUSE LEAP 15.3 KDE Frameworks 5.76.0 Qt 5.12.7 (compiled to 5.12.7) KDE Plasma Version 5.18 LTS for now: Kubuntu 22.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 profiles are listed in a random and changing order try to wrote to author Shaun Reich (shaun.reich@kdemail.net) without any results It's really weird. The applet has a sorting functionality built into it. I guess it doesn't work properly. Operating System: Kubuntu 24.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.11 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0 Qt Version: 5.15.13 Kernel Version: 6.8.0-45-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 For now entries are "sorted" as: ls -U: do not sort; list entries in directory order and if rename entries via some numbering as: 01_root@rpbi-red.profile 02_root@rpbi-white.profile ... 42_root@xeon_backup.profile then in konsole applet all looks sorted, even after reboot after renaming, copy to new folder via something like MC, then you get new directory order |
