As of 4.3.0 beta 2, the "Save Image Size as:" box is located too far away from the "Predefined" list it associates with, it's even being excluded from the same widget of the Predefined list, which is very confusing. Its text doesn't convey its purpose very well either. I think it might be a good idea to:

Move:
Save Image Size as: [ INPUT ] [ Save ]

Above:
Predefined: [ DROPLIST ]

Also change its text to:
Add to Predefined: [ New Size Name ] [ Add ]

I like "Add" instead of "Save", but I'm not sure if removing "Image size" from the label is a good idea. (But, considering that the label for the image size does say "Predefined"...)

Sorry, I think I'm not going to do this. The reason being that the natural order of working is

a) either select a predefined image size

or

b) select a custom image size

and then possibly

c) save that custom image size under a name

So the order of the elements follows the workflow logically, which is I guess why scott made these changes.

Thank you for the explaination. And I agree with your decision after reviewing my original description and your reply. I was probably preoccupied by ONLY the logic between the droplist and the saving to the droplist, because I was doing some work over the translation there.
