For the future readers, I'm half-sure they meant the blending mode on top of the canvas area. @juliatorok - could you please check if resetting the configuration - https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration - and then checking selecting a different blending mode and then going back to Normal works? I believe you might've by mistake removed the Normal blending mode from Favourites. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
