Update to latest KDE Plasma 5.18.5 did not resolve the problem. This is indeed a problem. I already tried to add locale settings to the list of things that can be synced from Plasma but unfortunately I believe I could never override /etc/locale.conf. The locale settings module could have an option to apply settings globally instead of just for the current user. Any progress on this? SDDM reads /etc/default/locale to set language/regional settings https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=428590 I've received a report downstream in Fedora about this: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2177257 It'd be great to see some progress on this and bug 428590 at some point. |
