SUMMARY
sort by size highlights multiple folders

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. sort by size a folder that has other folders within it.
2. click any folder within it then go up again.
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
multiple folders are selected [highlighted] and a hidden file's created

EXPECTED RESULT
only the selected folder should be highlighted when i go up

inorder to correcrt this behaviour, i delete the hidden file, contents of the hidden file are as follows:

Are you able to reproduce this issue now?
I tried on the latest release, I am not able to reproduce this issue

No, i cannot reproduce it
I cannot recall how it was solved

Closing this since reporter indicated now it works for them. Also I cannot reproduce on 23.08.2.
