SUMMARY

Freesound requires an account to download high-quality audios. Kdenlive includes a login window when trying to download an audio using Project->Online resources.

The problem is that after login successfully, nothing happens. A key is shown in the screen, but download doesn't start. After closing the window, if I try again, the login window is shown again.

According to the manual, the token is stored in ~/.config/kdenliverc but I cannot see any entry related to Freesound. Maybe this is not working?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a new project
2. Go to Project->Online resources. In service choose Freesound Audio Library
3. Search any sound (e.g. airplane)
4. Click import and choose a path to save the file
5. Freesound login window is shown. Write credentials and click login
6. Click authorize
7. New login window (this time like a full website). Write credentials again.
8. An authorization code is obtained

OBSERVED RESULT

Nothing happens after getting the token. Either I cancel, or I choose to download the HQ preview file.

EXPECTED RESULT

Login is successful and high-quality file is downloaded.

There have been several fixed for the online resources and finally they got a rewrite so this bug refers to code that does not exist anymore and I am closing this now.

Feel free to create a new report if you find another bug with the new online resource implementation in version 21.04 (going to be released in April 2021)
