SUMMARY When casting a video to my TV from a youtube browser tab, cannot control video using media buttons or system tray icon. I would love this feature as I often stream coding tutorials from my browser while working in a different window. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a YouTube video in browser (Chromium / Brave) 2. Observe media controls successfully pauses/plays video 3. Begin casting video to device (either via Cast button, or the Chromium Menu > Cast.. > {Select TV} ) OBSERVED RESULT After casting, media controls no longer plays/pauses the video EXPECTED RESULT While casting, should be able to use media controls same as while not casting.
