Example of what this bug refers to

SUMMARY
I opened a bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421733, and after a bit o back and forth I was redirected here.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make an empty panel
2. Add task manager
3. Add 2 flexible spacers, one on each side
4. Open a few windows

ACTUAL RESULT
The tasks are getting more and more un-centered as you open more applications. (drift to the left)

EXPECTED RESULT
I would like for the tasks to be properly centered against flexible spacers. More so, if they are not of equal size. Say... on the right there is the tray icons a spacer will be shorter than the spacer on the other side where there is just the menu. (refer to attachment)

I haven't tested yet, but from reading the 5.19.0 announcement, this should work now.
