Cannot reproduce with those same versions and the same distro. Thanks for looking into it, Nate. Apparently the problem occurred when the time format chosen through system settings was "Europe - English (En_150)". I had chosen this out of curiosity a few days ago to fix the date format after an upgrade to the latest plasma version. Once I changed that to e.g. UK English (en_GB) dolphin stopped crashing. That locale setting cost me a couple of hours worth of hunting down a bunch of problems (e.g. ibus stopped typing Greek in Wine). I suppose the rest of the programs should behave properly with this setting or the locale should be removed (or at least a bit of warning would be nice). If that locale is broken there is nothing we can do from the dolphin side. I think we can close this. |
