new steps on with the new widget explorer:
1. start Wayland session
2. right-click on wallpaper, choose "Add widgets..."
3. click on "Get new Widgets..." on top
4. while the "Get new Widgets..." menu is still open, click on "All widgets" beside the search field

Seems to be fixed now. As we can see in the attached screenshot, still an issue on neon unstable. This seems to be fixed with git master now. Possibly fixed by a recently backported Qt change too. it's still reproducible on Plasma 5.24 beta.
