STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start Wayland session
2. right-click on wallpaper, choose "Add widgets..."
3. click on "Get new Widgets..." on bottom
4. while the "Get new Widgets..." menu is still open, click on filter icon
on top

OBSERVED RESULT
filter menu opens in wrong position, see the attached screenshot please.

EXPECTED RESULT
filter menu should open in correct position

new steps on with the new widget explorer:

1. start Wayland session
2. right-click on wallpaper, choose "Add widgets..."
3. click on "Get new Widgets..." on top
4. while the "Get new Widgets..." menu is still open, click on "All widgets" beside the search field

Seems to be fixed now.

As we can see in the attached screenshot, still an issue on neon unstable.

I cannot reproduce in my git master wayland session. All the menus and pop-ups are positioned correctly.

This seems to be fixed with git master now. Possibly fixed by a recently backported Qt change too.

it's still reproducible on Plasma 5.24 beta.

Fixed on Arch Linux after update to KDE Qt 5.15.3
