There is no option to view effect properties to edit effects added to clips, it doesnt appear as a tab anywhere or even after selecting a clip with an effect that can be changed, this also leads to no clear way to remove an effect from a clip

What you are looking for is the "Effect/Composition Stack". It should be visible by default, but you can show/hide it through the "View" menu.

Please check whether this instruction solves your problem, if not please update to the latest version (20.12.3 at the moment, https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) and update this report
