I tested with a vertical video and it works. The properties frame size shows 1920x1080. What the properties frame size show with your video? Can you upload here a short test video? Created attachment 128419 [details]

(In reply to emohr from comment #1) > I tested with a vertical video and it works. The properties frame size shows > 1920x1080. What the properties frame size show with your video? Can you > upload here a short test video? Please find the file attached. It contains a project file rotate.kdenlive and an mp4 video. Steps to reproduce: - open the project in kdenlive - the short video (tulips in a vase) is horizontal (I already made some of the steps I described earlier) - click the clip in the Project Bin and check that the Disable Autorotate flag is turned on - right click on the video in the timeline and change the speed to 101% (whatever change produces the bug, I assume) - click an empty area of the timeline and click the clip again - the Project Monitor shows the video rotated (bug) - click the clip in the Project bin -> the Project Monitor shows normally - click the empty part of the timeline -> the Project Monitor shows rotated I hope it helps. If you need more info how the file was recorded (it can be relevant) then I am happy to explain it. I am not able to reproduce, can you test with latest version please and let us know how it goes?
