Confirmed. That would be a bug/visual issue in Ark though. Perhaps it should make them semi-transparent while dragging? IIRC macOS does that. That would be the solution exactly. Dragging and dropping multiple items from list view in Dolphin turns them into smaller icons, making it easier to see what's underneath. For consistency, I think Ark should do the same. |
Created attachment 128218 [details] dragging and dropping files Drag-and-Drop elements from list view applications, e.g. ARK, creates a solid background, therefore obfuscating items underneath. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a third-party application. 2. Drag and drop files in list view 3. See a solid background, making it impossible to see items underneath, or targeting. OBSERVED RESULT It very difficult to drag-and-drop elements into folders or at speficic places, when they are hidden underneath a solid background. EXPECTED RESULT Semi-transparent background in drag-and-drop zone. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro KDE KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.69.0 Qt Version: 5.14.2
