SUMMARY

That URLs are uniform way to access various protocols, 
this gives a chance to have a single application for browsing all. 
So i would like to have dolphin also browse http and ftp and that like. 
Difference to a browser: exposes folder structure.

You can already browse FTP shares, network mounts, servers via ssh and many others ioslaves are provided. Please open a concrete bug report for a missing protocol (http won't be supported, use Konqueror for that instead).
