Created attachment 128036 [details] Default application disappears shortly after applying the setting SUMMARY It is not possible to configure a specific file type to be opened with a specific app by default. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a file type association in system settings > personalization > applications 2. Select a file of that type from the desktop or file manager, and open properties or attempt to open the file by double-clicking 3. Select file type options from properties and attempt to add an app to open this file type by default OR when opening, use the "choose applicatrion popup window to select an app to open with.Check the "remember application association..." box. Save/ continue. OBSERVED RESULT The application will open properly if using the choose application prompt, but the setting will not be saved. If using the preferences menu, the default app association willpopulate the list before disappearing. EXPECTED RESULT The default app association is saved SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 19.10 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.62.0 Qt Version: 5.12.4 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
