SUMMARY

Seems that when doing composite with included kdenlive file containing a static image the ui crashes (even though normal playback works fine)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create a kdenlive file with a short video followed by an image. Save it as insert.kdenlive
2. Create a new kdenlive file, import insert.kdenlive as a clip and put onto timeline
3. add another video under this
4. Set so that the insert.kdenlive fades out during the image
5. click on the timeline at some point during the fade - crash.

However if just doing a preview playback it is working just fine.

Ubuntu 18.04 with 20.04.0 appimage. Worked fine in 19.12.3 appimage.

Tried with actual master. No Crash. 

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 20.04.1b 

or Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage

to see if the crash still occurs.

Can you please update to the latest version (20.12.2 at the moment, https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) and report here whether this is still happening?
