SUMMARY
... if there are multiple crashes, show a number in a bubble like battery level indicator does. Clicking on this indicator would open the oldest report and closing the report would decrease the number. This approach will prevent system tray from using a lot of space on the panel, in case something crashes repeatedly.

Another approach would be making notifications instead of tray icons, and those would be clickable to open the report
