- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I launched the game (DmC Devil May Cry, a DX9 game running with Valve Proton (and VK3D/DXVK idk)), alt-tabbed back out, replied to someone on Discord, tried to switch back and, after multiple tried back and forth, kwin_x11 crashed. I noticed the cursor being inverted while the game was supposed to be on foreground, however this could be caused by the game itself

his bug report is quite old. Can you still reproduce this issue with KDE 5.23? If so, can you please install debugging packages following the info provided in  https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports, try to reproduce the bug and resubmit a backtrace with debugging information.
