Description Nico Kümmel 2020-04-17 09:36:49 UTC
I have two routers with 2 different subnets in my network configuration. The are properly routed to each other, I can access both subnets from any device.
My Android phone is in one subnet with the IP 192.168.1.212. My PC is in another subnet with the IP 192.168.178.31.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open KDE-Connect on the Android device
2. Add device via IP address and enter PC IP in different Subnet
3. Scan for devices in KDE-Connect

OBSERVED RESULT
The PC does not show up on the phone

EXPECTED RESULT
The PC should show up on the phone

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Archlinux
KDE Plasma Version: Plasma 5.18.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
KDE-Connect on Android is from Play store. I can connect to the IP of my PC in the different subnet from my phone just fine (tried rsync in termux)

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with KDE Connect 25.12.2.
