SUMMARY
Unable to access windows share when the local windows user you're trying to authenticate as has no password.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create network share on windows pc.
2. Set the permissions so 1 local user without a password can access it.
3. Try to connect to it via knetattach/KDE Network Wizard
3. When you press "OK" in the authentication dialog will just keep re-appearing with no share being attached.

OBSERVED RESULT
Authentication dialog will just keep re-appearing with no share being attached.

EXPECTED RESULT
Expected the share to be attached and I expected to see it and be able to read and write to it.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Not quite sure what the "KDE Plasma" part of "Linux/KDE Plasma" line above meant.

Could be that bug, could just as likely be server misconfiguration though. There is a mountain of authentication related settings in gpedit.msc and, I guess, secpol.msc too. Windows does rather dislike empty passwords for remote authentication, for obvious reasons.
