SUMMARY
There should be a filter/search to show all pictures, which are marked as favorites. A very simple way to select a group of pictures.

I don't understand the problem. You can give a rating of 1-5, set flags and use color labels to tag your favorite images. You can search/display this images using the left sidebar.

Yes, for me all the infrastructure already in place permit to filter by favorite. Use labels ak rating, pick or color tags, this id dedicated for a quick photo workflow...

No feedback here? DigiKam has various options to mark favorite images and display them again. I close the bug.
