This is the issue -- notice the one pixel border on the right hand side of the block cursor.
The border is btw 1 *transparent* pixel wide, so you can see the window *below* through it. That it's white was just a coincidence. The same issue appears in the menu, the "black" line next to "Help" is in fact the same kind of 1 pixel transparent line. I also noticed that this is font-dependent. With different fonts, I also get horizontal lines appearing; sometimes below links, sometimes across the full width. If I had to guess, I'd say some font metric is rounded (line height/width) and does not match the actual glyph size. Created attachment 127424 [details]

SUMMARY When running with 150% screen scaling, the cursor has a 1 px white (it's probably not white, but "undefined" border on the right side.) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set scaling factor to 1.5 in System Settings 2. Open Konsole 3.
