SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. i selected the onion skin 
2. i chose the frames i want to reproduce with the colors
3. i turn the onion skin in the frames "on"

OBSERVED RESULT
The before and after frames does not show the drawn object from their frames

i copied all the other frames from the drawing in the first frame

This is either a user error -- you're using the onion skin wrong, or a bug that's already been fixed. Please update to Krita 4.2.9 and check https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/dockers/onion_skin.html
